Del Medical (Harrison, NY, USA), a medical imaging technology developer, reported the purchase of a new manufacturing facility situated in Bloomingdale (IL, USA).

The new 83,000-square-foot building is double the size of the Roselle (IL, USA) facility currently occupied by Del and will contain expanded production lines, increased office and warehouse space, and a larger technical support and training center. “This move will better serve the continuously rising demand of Del Medical products as well as to accommodate a growing workforce,” said Toufic Lorenzo, president and CEO of Del Medical. “The increased capacity not only improves our ability to support our dealers in their growth, it also strengthens our position as a major manufacturer in the medical imaging industry.”

The company’s plan to relocate to Bloomingdale was to maintain valued personnel and to minimize any interruption in production (the Bloomingdale facility is approximately two miles from Del’s current location). The company plans to move their Roselle manufacturing operations into the new facility early in 2013.

Del Medial, Inc. is engaged in the design, manufacture, and distribution of digital and analog medical imaging systems that are marketed and serviced through a global network of authorized and factory trained dealers. The company’s extensive range of configurations and accessories is designed to support hospitals, imaging centers, and clinics by customizing systems to accommodate each facility’s various sizes, requirements and budget. The company’s radiographic equipment products are manufactured in their Roselle (IL, USA) facility.
