Medi-Future, Inc. (Seoul, South Korea) and Three Palm Software (Los Gatos, CA, USA) reported that they have signed a partnership agreement in which Medi-Future will distribute Three Palm Software's WorkstationOne product as part of its mammography product suite.

Under this agreement, Medi-Future will be distributing Three Palm Software's WorkstationOne with Brestige--its new digital mammography system, which is being introduced to select markets.

"We are pleased to be working with Three Palm Software," commented Jeong-Chai Lee, president and CEO of Medi-Future. "Our goal is to offer the best products for breast imaging, and WorkstationOne is the leading breast imaging workstation on the market."

Patrick Heffernan, CEO of Three Palm Software commented, "Medi-Future is an impressive company--within three years they have come from nothing to a complete mammography product suite that has state of the art image quality and good ergonomics. Medi-Future appears to be a company that knows what it is doing, and we are pleased to be associated with Medi-Future's market entry."

Brestige is a full-field digital mammography system that provides high productivity and image quality through innovative software. The user-friendly design minimizes patient discomfort. The system is designed to allow rapid acquisition, with planned advanced applications such as computer-aided detection (CAD) and tomosynthesis to be available in a later release.

WorkstationOne is a full-featured breast imaging workstation, with an emphasis on efficient reviewing workflow and expert viewing methodologies such as Tabar's systematic viewing masks. WorkstationOne supports Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) mammography image profile and the display of CAD markers as well as grayscale softcopy presentation state (GSPS) graphic annotation. WorkstationOne is a software product that can be installed on an off-the-shelf general-purpose computer with one or two gray-scale high-resolution monitors and one color monitor.

Medi-Future is a global manufacturer of digital X-ray equipment focused on women's breast care. Their core business is to develop a series of products for breast cancer, such as digital mammography with review workstation and stereotactic biopsy, next-generation tomosynthesis, and CAD optimized for dense breasts.

Three Palm Software develops software applications for the breast imaging market. MammoOne, a line of software products for mammography, is designed to aid in the early and accurate diagnosis of disease impacting the health and well being of women.
