Marconi Picks New Senior VP and CFO

(Cleveland, OH, USA) has appointed Ralph Balestriere senior vice president and chief financial officer. Balestriere will be responsible for all financial matters on a global basis.

Balestriere was most recently vice president and general manager of international administration for C.R. Bard, Inc., a New Jersey (USA) developer and marketer of products for vascular, urologic, oncology, and surgical applications. In his nearly 20 years with Bard, he made significant contributions to corporate growth and profitability through achievements in finance, international operations, and global business development.

"Ralph's financial acumen and ability to manage our continuing growth are needed as we continue to bring new products and services to market,” said Fred B. Parks, president and CEO of Marconi Medical Systems.
