CoActiv and Codonics Integrate Systems

CoActiv Medical Business Solutions (Ridgefield, CT, USA), a picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) provider to hospitals and imaging centers, has announced a partnership with Codonics, Inc. (Middleburg Heights, OH, USA), a developer of medical imaging systems.

The integration of CoActiv Exam-PACS with the Codonics line of Horizon multimedia imagers provides hospital and imaging centers with multiformat, multisize, and multi-media film and color output. The imager's ability to print grayscale and color in one imager makes it suitable for advanced imaging applications requiring large format film, color for computed tomography (CT) perfusion, functional and three-dimensional rendering, plus grayscale paper for diagnostic review, referral, and patient copies. These imagers provide an "all-in-one” system that eliminates the need for multiple imagers, with its unique capability to combine film, color, and grayscale in one desktop device.

"Our integration with the Codonics line of medical printers further highlights CoActiv's commitment to providing an affordable, fully functional PACS solution to hospitals and imaging centers without compromising quality, reliability, and professionalism,” said Ed Heere, president of CoActiv Medical Business Solutions.
