An agreement has been announced under which AMD Telemedicine (Lowell, MA, USA) will market and sell the iCRo family of computed radiography (CR) and film scanner systems of The Intelligent CR Co., Inc. (Torrence, CA, USA) under the AMD Telemedicine brand name. The global agreement enables AMD Telemedicine to offer these iCRco products to AMD Telemedicine customers throughout most of the world.

"The CR and film scanner systems offer a tremendous opportunity for AMD Telemedicine to provide its users with a truly integrated workflow solution as they head toward digital telemedicine. These products from iCRco fit well with the complete range of clinical devices AMD offers for the telemedicine environment,” remarked Mark VanderWerf, president of AMD Telemedicine.

"The AMD distribution and organization give us valuable reach into important geographic markets, driving continued growth and expansion of our CR and film scanner business,” said Steve Haas, vice president, sales and marketing, iCRco. "The partnership allows iCRco to participate in the digital conversion of the remote or rural medicine market.”

The iCRco line provides high-quality image acquisition, good quality control, and diagnostic review in a simple and compact cost-effective unit.
