RIS/PACS Software Receives CE Marking

A commercial version of the open source radiology information system/picture archiving and communication system (RIS/PACS) is designed to give medical practices a flexible, easy to use software solution, regardless of practice size and workflow complexities. More...


ClearCanvas, Inc. (Toronto, Canada), a medical imaging informatics company, recently received the European Community CE marking for its RIS/PACS software. “We are very excited about the potential the CE mark has created for ClearCanvas to build on its 25,000 strong user base,” commented Norman Young, CEO of ClearCanvas. “Efficient workflow is critical to the operational effectiveness of any clinical practice, so it’s important to provide a flexible, intuitive solution.”
