Software Application Designed for Ultrasound Reporting, Image Management, Ultrasound Workstation and DICOM Viewer

A cost-effective software application is intended for capturing, viewing, archiving, and management of images acquired from ultrasound units and other similar imaging systems.

The software is designed for ultrasound imaging workstations and the Windows Phone 7 DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) image viewer with multiple configurations and options. Sonovision is the primary software for most of the solutions being offered by Peridot Technologies (Elmhurst, NY, USA). Peridot's Sonovision 2.0, which is highly efficient, economic, and easy to use workstation software, has built-in ultrasound report templates for abdomen, gynecology, and obstetrics. Features of the software include: capture of high-resolution medical images; save sonogram as image files function, DICOM and ultrasound reports; a remote control function for image capturing and printing; image enhancement and effects; and capabilities such as image zooming, panning, flipping, and rotating options.

Currently multiple workstation solutions with different hardware and software configurations are available to medical imaging labs (for reference only), animal clinics, veterinary hospitals, and research institutes.

The Sonovision 2.0 standard is specially designed for small and medium-size medical practices/clinics (for reference only), animal clinics, pet hospitals, veterinary clinics, and research institutes. Sonovision 2.0 standard package comes with installation disc, remote control, video capture card, and user manual.

Easy DICOM Viewer for Windows Phone 7 is one of the most innovative and first of its kind medical images and DICOM images viewer/workstation application for searching and retrieving medical images from a picture and archiving and communication system (PACS) server in to Windows Phone 7 devices, so physicians can search and load their patient's studies on the phones while on the move. With ability to search through work list by patient ID, name, study date, or physician name, the user can load any DICOM study along with patient details and images on the phone. Easy DICOM Viewer for Windows Phone 7 is currently available for free on Windows Phone 7 market place and is intended for testing and reference only.

Sonovision Workstation v2.0 (HD) is a complete ultrasound workstation with high performance all-in-one touch screen personal computer (PC) for high-definition ultrasound image acquisition, studies management and reporting. This package includes a quad core, high-performance all-in-one touch screen PC with Sonovision preinstalled on it. Sonovision customization solution and integration options are also available according to business requirement.

Peridot Technologies is currently working with various medical equipment distributors, supplier and technology partners worldwide to market and implement these solutions in medical imaging labs, hospitals, clinics, and practices internationally, and to veterinary clinics, animal hospital, and medical research institutes within United States market.
