The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA, Oak Brook, IL, USA) is presenting its RSNA 2023 program which will deliver trends in radiology science, a wide range of education sessions, industry leaders, and the latest advances in medical imaging. The 109th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the RSNA being held Nov. 26-30 at McCormick Place in Chicago, USA, is a major attraction for the international community of medical imaging professionals and industry partners who wish to stay up to date with the latest radiology advancements. This year’s annual meeting theme, Leading Through Change, focuses on how radiology professionals can be intentional and proactive while leading teams and organizations through change.

RSNA 2023 features over 300 educational courses and more than 3,500 scientific papers, education exhibits, and science posters, and also includes an engaging line-up of plenary speakers sharing insights on the topics that are most relevant to today’s radiologists. The RSNA 2023 program includes 33 hot topic sessions, 38 sessions focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI), presentations and clinical science covering the 18 subspecialty practice areas, and 6 plenary sessions, featuring industry leaders. This year, the Technical Exhibits halls are home to more than 650 exhibitors, including over 100 first-time exhibitors. This group of welcome newcomers is comprised of recruiters and academic institutions as well as a variety of industry partners who are excited to share their products and services with visitors. Attendees can see their offering of next-generation imaging modalities, AI, interoperability, workflow, 3D printing, automation, and staffing solutions.

As the world’s leading professional radiology organization and the trusted source for science and education in the field, RSNA provides the expertise, practical guidance, and vetted tools needed for the ethical application of AI technology in medical imaging. Attendees can take advantage of the AI Showcase with 93 exhibitors who will demonstrate how AI enhances imaging quality, efficiency, and outcomes. In addition to a strong response to the initial call for abstracts, many submissions were received for a second abstract call that focused on late-breaking research in the areas of generative AI, sustainability in imaging, imaging of immunotherapy, and theranostics. Sessions selected from the second call are being featured in the Learning Center theaters throughout the week. Attendees will also enjoy a wide selection of non-interpretive sessions that will help them sharpen skills beyond imaging.

“Exhibitors are excited about RSNA 2023,” said John P. Jaworski, CEM, RSNA assistant executive director of Meetings & Exhibition Services. “From large bellwether companies to small startups, this year will have nearly 700 companies, including over 100 first-time exhibitors, displaying a wide range of products and solutions in two large exhibit halls at McCormick Place. We have seen more companies from around the globe return to exhibit and exciting growth in the specialty exhibit areas. The RSNA 2023 Technical Exhibition will have many opportunities to explore and learn about the latest technological solutions in health care.”
