Dicom Systems (Campbell, CA, USA) and Health Level have announced a partnership agreement at the annual Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS 2015; Chicago, IL, USA) conference and exhibition.

The partnership is intended to meet a market requirement for the collection, processing, and analysis of medical data.

Dicom Systems specializes in teleradiology and interoperability, and facilitates connectivity between healthcare institutions’ information systems and data sources. Dicom Systems’ workflow management suite features Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine/Health Level 7 (DICOM/HL7) fusion, integration and workflow, radiology Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA), and encrypted bidirectional data transfer.

Health Level’s enterprise management platform, called “Foundations” collates clinical, financial, and operational data from enterprise systems such as Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and imaging modalities.

Dmitriy Tochilnik, president and CTO of Dicom Systems, commented, “Our two platforms complement each other nicely for our mutual enterprise customers. DCMSYS provides the smart and interoperable data flow that enables the imaging enterprise to interconnect and fluidly collect and move data; Health Level provides the layer of data liquidity necessary for healthcare providers to attain the clarity they need to effectively run their business.”
