Hologic, Inc. (Marlborough, MA, USA) showcased its extensive portfolio of breast and skeletal health products, including screening and diagnostics solutions, breast biopsy, and breast cancer treatment and monitoring solutions, at RSNA 2021.

Hologic offered attendees opportunities to engage with products, including the Dimensions mammography portfolio, Mach ultrasound systems, and a full suite of breast biopsy and surgery solutions. Hologic demonstrated its new high-performance SuperSonic MACH 40 ultrasound system is designed to help increase efficiency and diagnostic accuracy. Inspired by the video gaming industry, the intelligent signal processing with image capture capacity of up to 20,000 frames per second, brings unlimited possibilities into ultrasound imaging.

Hologic also showcased its Brevera breast biopsy system with CorLumina imaging technology. Brevera is the world’s first and only solution to combine vacuum-assisted tissue acquisition, real-time imaging, verification and advanced post-biopsy handling – all in one, integrated system. Hologic demonstrated its Genius AI Detection Technology, its next generation deep-learning based software detects potential cancers in breast tomosynthesis images. Genius AI Detection technology represents the next breakthrough in helping radiologists identify breast cancers. Using deep learning technology, Genius AI Detection is designed to find cancers with improved accuracy as compared to Hologic’s previous generation CAD, with the software fully integrated on the Dimensions system.

Additionally, the company hosted a series of both CME and non-CME accredited medical education symposiums and lunch-and-learn sessions, accessible to attendees on-site and from remote locations.

“We’re excited to provide our attendees hands-on experiences with our category-leading innovations, both in our booth and during our medical sessions, as we explore the future of breast health at RSNA 2021,” said Jennifer Meade, Hologic’s Division President, Breast and Skeletal Health Solutions. “Our commitment to delivering clinically proven solutions across the continuum of care to improve outcomes, reduce costs and increase patient satisfaction remains steadfast, and we're ready to bring that commitment to life through our comprehensive programming at this year’s meeting both in-person and virtually."
