After three long years of the COVID-19 crisis, Bracco Imaging S.p.A. (Milan, Italy) welcomed radiologists back to the first post-pandemic European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2022. At ECR 2022 held on July 13-17 in Vienna, Austria, the company presented its audience with a new portfolio of technologies, products, and scientific programs, driven by the need to adapt the healthcare system for a healthier and safer world.

In cooperation with the European Society of Radiology, Bracco’s participation at ECR 2022 focused on Unlocking the Invisible and demonstrating how its technologies and solutions can overcome boundaries in order to make the unseen… seeable. Specifically, Bracco highlighted how it is shaping the future of radiology through new real-time imaging in CT, MRI, CEUS, and nuclear medicine to help view life from the inside, fueled by AI solutions. At ECR 2022, Bracco provided an interactive experience focused on showcasing new ways of building bridges with ECR, radiologists, and patients.

The Bracco booth at ECR 2022 was an engrossing, interactive, animated experience, appealing to all the senses and delivering an immersive educational experience. Visitors traveling through the corridors were taken on an immersive journey that revealed Bracco’s latest developments of new technologies, products, and scientific programs in MRI, CT, and CEUS imaging, as well as nuclear medicine. Visitors to Bracco’s interactive AI corner learnt more about the company’s applications in diagnostic imaging and also received an educational digital reward. Bracco also hosted three symposia on Keeping Pace with CT Technology and Contrast Medium Usage; MRI In Abdominal Oncology: An Interactive Discussion of Clinical Cases From Routine Practice; and Benefits of Liver CEUS and Imaging Correlation in Routine Clinical Practice.

"ECR 2022 is about more than education; it is about bridges being built between radiologists, radiographers, patients, scientists and the partners, like Bracco, that make it all possible," said Prof. Regina Beets-Tan, ESR President. "Our partnership with Bracco is an integral part of how the congress aims to support radiologists by helping them incorporate new technologies into the healthcare system in order to greatly improve patient care and as medical professionals overall."

"We are delighted and excited to reinforce our partnership with ESR for the ECR 2022 Congress. The past two years have been challenging on many levels and for everyone, we cannot forget the millions of lives lost, the suffering and grief, and the myriad disruptions to lives and livelihoods. However, this difficult time has made us stronger and we look forward to meeting old and new friends in person and sharing our recent technological advances and new offering aimed at improving healthcare and long-term sustainability," said Dr. Alberto Spinazzi, Chief Medical and Regulatory Officer, Bracco Group.
