Sophisticated three-dimensional (3D) visualization is a vital component of medical care and is essential in clinical diagnosis and surgical planning. With the increasing amount of data acquired by modern techniques and the growing practice of teleradiology, it has become nearly impossible for radiologists to view and interpret thousands of images without the support of advanced 3D visualization, particularly over low-bandwidth-wide area networks.

Fovia's HDVR software offers fast and interactive central processing unit (CPU)-based real-time rendering of extremely large data sets in 3D.
